Job Details: Job Location: Emanuel County Hospital Authority - Swainsboro, GA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Nurse, POSITION DESCRIPTION:Responsible for planning, providing, and supervising the nursing care delivered to the Emergency Department patient in accordance with the standards governing our facility.  Maintains overall departmental operations in accordance with the facilities mission and philosophy. Participates and maintains performance improvement activities to assure highest standards of care.Qualifications: MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:Graduated from an accredited school of nursingCurrent License by State Board of Nursing requiredCurrent BCLS requiredCurrent ACLS required TNCC preferredPALS or ENPC required PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk and bend intermittently throughout the work day, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these sources to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned.
