Sonic Summary

An urgent requirement exists for a Senior Cloud Engineer on a contract basis in Sydney or Melbourne.
Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, automation, and troubleshooting, particularly with AWS services like EC2, ECS, and RDS.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, is essential.
The position requires proven experience in leading cloud migrations and a solid understanding of cloud security and networking best practices.
This contract role is for a duration of 6 months with a possible extension, and is open only to Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

Urgent requirement of Sr. Cloud Engineer - Contract - Sydney/ Melbourne

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure operations, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
AWS: EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53.
IaC: Terraform and CloudFormation.
CI/CD: Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Monitoring & Observability: Splunk Observability, CloudWatch, Container Insights.
Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes and Docker.
Proven experience leading cloud migrations and/or platform engineering work.
Solid grasp of cloud security, networking, and operational best practices.

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
