DSP will need to provide hands on assistance with self care tasks. The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient. Must also be willing to provide personal care when needed and spending majority of the time in the home. Communication skills, and independent living skills goals in place. This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving service at the agency. Hours and days of work: Flexible 3 weekdays 2pm-9pm and every other 3rd weekend with Saturday 1pm-9pm, Sunday 2pm-midnight Starting pay: Respite 22.50, and Com hab 24.00 Location: Syracuse, NY Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license  Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by Indera's technology policy.
