Direct support professional (DSP) positions work independently in people's homes and in the community - teaching life skills, participating in recreation activities, providing job coaching, supporting families, and more importantly, truly making a difference in a person's life. Our website has a complete list of open positions, however any applicant is welcome to use this application to apply for a position in our self-direction department.  Valid NYS driver's license and a reliable vehicle required for most positions. All new hires must complete a five hour initial training online; the training rate is $17/hour. Once working, the rate of pay will vary based on each person's individual budget. Qualifications Must have a valid drivers license  Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
