Position Summary:

The Dining Services Server performs duties related to the serving of meals to residents and staff with emphasis on food quality, safety, accuracy and presentation while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. 

Qualifications:

• 1+ years serving experience (Required).
• High school diploma or GED (Required).
• Previous Healthcare/Senior Living experience a plus.
• Ability to pass background check, reference check, and drug screening. (Required).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Presents food in pre-determined quantities according to menu and number of persons being served.
• Meets the demands of meal serving schedules.
• Serves already prepared meals, beverages, desserts bread and soups.
• Sets and prepares dining room and tables for service.
• Assists dining room Host/Cook with requested duties.
• Reads and understands standardized therapeutic diets.
• Avoids waste through proper utilization of standardized recipes.
• Expedites meal service for accuracy, proper presentation, and cleanliness.
• Follows established safe food handling and department HACCP standards.
• Records and verifies all food and equipment temperature logs.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in sanitary and safe condition.
• Completes or verifies daily cleaning duties of kitchen are accomplished.
• Assists with dishing and bussing as needed.

Upon acceptance of an offer, candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, reference checks and background check prior to starting work with eliseo.

Upon first day of hire, all staff are required to provide documentation of influenza vaccination (Seasonally for Influenza). Additionally, all staff will undergo tuberculosis testing upon their first day and annually.
