Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Security Portal in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify identification and credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents by observing inbound and outbound personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and shipments in a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
