The PositionÂ
We are looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join a team of paralegals and legal assistants. This position reports to practice group shareholders and associates for work product prioritization and conflict resolution. This job operates in a professional office environment, and this position is expected to work out of the employer’s primary office location.Â

Requirements
 Essential responsibilities of the position will include:Â
   • Draft legal documents including, briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, etc.
   • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, judicial administrative staff, vendors and courtsÂ
   • Compile information for discovery, pleadings, motions, and assisting in trial preparationÂ
   • Perform initial drafts of discoveryÂ
   • Create discovery logs and issuing Requests for CopiesÂ
   • Organize, track, and maintain original documents and electronic filesÂ
   • File documents with the courts or other government entitiesÂ
   • Assist attorneys with document review to assist with case developmentÂ
   • Perform legal and factual researchÂ
   • Perform records researchÂ
   • Organize, analyze and validate informationÂ
   • Organize and maintain paper and electronic client/matter filesÂ
   • Assist with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and trial bindersÂ
   • Accurate input of time into Time and Billing systemÂ
   • Other duties as assignedÂ
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:Â
   • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experienceÂ
   • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skillsÂ
   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are requiredÂ
   • Excellent organizational and time management skillsÂ
   • Excellent research and analytical skillsÂ
   • Must be a self-starter, professional, and team playerÂ
   • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
   • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Relativity or e-discovery platformÂ
   • Familiarity with electronic filings with governmental entities and document management systemsÂ
