Shop Technician

Job DetailsJob Location: TAMPA TERMINAL - Tampa, FL 33619Duties and Responsibilities:   · Responsible for vehicle maintenance of tractor-trailers and repair on all company vehicles as needed · General knowledge and mechanical skills Reliable transportation · Basic hand tools · Be able to lift to 70lbs (Over 70lbs team lift required · Basic Computer Skills requires (Diagnostic computer skills a plus) · Able to work a 40-hour work week · Able to work occasional overtime · Preventive Maintenance Work required · Must be trained in basic air brake and ABS functions and diagnostic.   QualificationsKnowledge and Skills:   · One-year mechanical experience required Education and Work Experience:   · Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred · Petroleum tank repair experience and certifications highly preferred · Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience working on air brake systems · Ability to perform annual federal inspections on trucks and trailers · Must provide own tools up to 1/2" drive.   Physical Demands:   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
