The Clinical Director shall be a member of senior management, shall report directly to the President of PTL, shall not be subordinate to the General Counsel or Chief Financial Officer, and shall be either an M.D. or a D.O. with experience in the field of pain management and urine drug testing, but shall not make referrals to our lab. 


The Clinical Director shall be responsible for, without limitation:

1. Reviewing and approving policies, procedures, and practices related to any medical or clinical decision-making; be available for peer-to-peer discussions with practitioners, including referring practitioners; review any statements made in marketing materials or by sales staff related to medical necessity or clinical decision-making; be available for discussions with sales staff about medical necessity or clinical decision-making; and communicate directly with management on matters related to medical necessity and clinical decision-making;

2. Working with the Compliance Contact in effectuating Testing Monitoring provisions as required in Section III.L; and

3. Making periodic (at least quarterly) reports regarding medical/clinical matters directly to the President, Compliance Committee, and Board and shall be authorized to report on such matters to the President, Compliance Committee, and Board at any time. 


This is a part time consulting position that can be done remotely. Time commitment is approximately 2-3 hours a month.
