A well-established, second-tier private security company operating nationwideseeks a results-driven Security Operations Manager tolead and optimize its field and support operations.

The Role – Manager, Private Security Operations
This is a core managerial position responsible for the strategic and day-to-dayleadership of the company's security delivery functions. As the senior manageroverseeing branches, technical units, and specialized teams, you will ensureoperational excellence, client retention, and business growth.

Key Managerial Responsibilities

·         Growth & Client Retention – Develop andexecute strategies to retain existing clients while identifying and securingnew business opportunities.

·         Policy & SOP Management – Create,implement, and regularly update operational policies, procedures, and SOPs toensure regulatory compliance and efficiency.

·         Branch & Team Leadership – Provide directoversight and strategic direction to branch managers, ensuring all regionaloperations align with corporate goals.

·         Management of Security Guards & Supervisory Team – Directlyoversee the entire guard force and field supervisors, ensuring optimaldeployment, discipline, performance standards, and career progression pathways.

·         Client Escalation Management – Act as theprimary point of escalation for client concerns; resolve issues within 12 hoursand complete formal incident investigations promptly.

·         Operational Efficiency – Assess current operationalstructures and implement data-driven changes to improve workflow andproductivity.

·         Administrative & Budget Control – Manage theOperations Department's administration, including cost-effective systems andstrict budgetary controls.

·         Performance Management – Conduct regular performancereviews for operational staff (including guards and supervisors), offermentorship, and take corrective action when needed.

·         Specialized Unit Oversight – Supervise keydivisions including the Training School, Technical Department, and CanineSection, Investigations, Car Tracking,  ensuring each meets company and industry standards.

  10. Data-Driven Decision Making – Use incident reports and patrol logs to improve deployments.

  11. Security Tech Literacy – Use GPS tracking, CCTV, and access control systems.

  12. Root Cause Analysis – Investigate guard failures (e.g., sleeping on duty) to fix underlying issues.

  13. Decisiveness Under Pressure – Handle after-hours emergencies (e.g., last-minute guard absences).

  14. Integrity & Resilience – Remain incorruptible and composed despite constant pressure.

  15. Military/GSU Command Presence (bonus) – Brings crisis discipline and authority.
