Join us as a HSE Studentfor the Florida Buildings Group district, within our US Buildings sector for 4 or 8 months starting May 2027 Depending on your assigned project as a HSE Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities
- Monitors and assists with implementation of the project HSE Plan, environmental plan, regulatory requirements, and any other safe work practices.Â
- Identifies and assists in conducting project specific HSE training.Â
- Provides project team with project specific HSE information and trends and assists to create action plans. Â
- Assists with the development and implementation of hazard identification tools.Â
- Conducts project HSE inspections and verifies that corrective actions have been implemented.Â
- Supports project teams with the implementation of the emergency response plan and monitors project security requirements.Â
- Gathers, reviews, and provides input on trade documentation and monitors trade contractor safety compliance.
- Verifies that equipment and tool inspections are being conducted and documented as per requirements.Â
- Notifies appropriate stakeholders of any incident and supporting the investigation.Â
- Develops and maintains positive relationships. Â
Qualifications
- Working toward Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.Â
- Working toward safety designation.Â
- Knowledge of applicable OH&S, environmental legislation and HSE processes.Â
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Â
- Some knowledge of construction processes and terminology.Â
- A strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
