The Admissions Advisor - Hybrid provides every prospective student with prompt, professional, engaging, thorough, and accurate advisement, with unsurpassed levels of follow-up and support. The Admissions Advisor - Hybrid demonstrates empathy and compassion when advising students. The Admissions Representative collaborates with the Associate Director of Admissions to set goals, receive timely and meaningful coaching and feedback, and develop a plan to meet or exceed key performance indicators. 

Admissions Advisor - Hybrid

This position is designated as a hybrid role. The employee will be primarily assigned to the Bryan University office located in Tempe, Arizona, 3-4 days per week with the opportunity to telecommute from an approved home office location 1-2 days per week based on business needs, performance expectations, training requirements, and supervisory approval. Scheduled in-office attendance may be required for onboarding, training, meetings, team collaboration, special events, and other business purposes.

General Duties

The Admissions Advisor - Hybrid provides exceptional service throughout the student admissions lifecycle, guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment while supporting their educational goals and ensuring a positive student experience.

  • Conduct admissions interviews and assess prospective students' educational goals, needs, and program fit.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process for certificate, undergraduate, and graduate programs.
  • Provide timely, professional support through phone, email, text, video conferencing, and other communication channels.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up and proactive outreach to prospective students, applicants, and enrolled students through their first day of class.
  • Resolve student questions and concerns and deliver accurate information regarding programs, admissions requirements, and enrollment processes.
  • Must meet or exceed established performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to remain in good standing.
  • Utilize CRM, call center, student information, and reporting systems to effectively manage student interactions and enrollment activities.
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Student Services, Academic Affairs, and other departments to ensure seamless student experience.
  • Maintain compliance with university policies and all applicable accreditation, regulatory, and Department of Education requirements.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and professional development activities to continuously enhance performance and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a commitment to student success.
  • Contribute positively to team culture through collaboration, communication, and student-focused service.
  • Successfully perform responsibilities in both onsite and remote work environments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • This position is only available to candidates local to the PHX Metro area.
  • This position operates in a hybrid work environment consisting of both office-based and approved remote work locations.
  • Employee must maintain a professional, distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet service sufficient to support video conferencing and admissions technologies, as well as reliable transportation to commute to our Tempe location. 
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment using software technology including but not limited to Campus Vue, Google Drive, Canvas, Salesforce, Zoom technology, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Ability to sit or stand for six to eight hours.
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in admissions/enrollment, consultative service, sales, or recruiting.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals in a metrics-driven environment. Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication.
  • Proven track record for building and sustaining trusting relationships.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing technology.
  • Ability to work successfully in a hybrid environment balancing onsite and remote responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in virtual communication platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar technologies.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access and the ability to maintain a professional home office environment.
  • Ability to independently manage workload, prioritize competing demands, and maintain productivity while telecommuting.
