Position

Canyon State Electric is seeking a skilled Special Projects Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and specialty project work throughout the Valley. This role is perfect for an experienced electrician who enjoys diverse projects, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems.
Work with lighting controls, motor controls, and fire alarm systems.
Perform testing, commissioning, and preventative maintenance.
Complete service documentation and reports using a tablet or mobile device.
Ensure all work meets NEC, local, and state code requirements.
Communicate professionally with customers and project teams.
Mentor apprentices and support team success.

Qualifications

5+ years of Journeyman Electrician experience.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with commercial electrical systems and service work.
Familiarity with fire alarm systems and controls preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various environments.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $33-$37/hour
