Work Schedule: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Weekend rotations, on call and overtime will be required on an as neededEssential Job Duties:  Compute, review, and analyze daily trades against physical product cost to verify cost vs market price determining success of the trade Understand the products in the fund and their corresponding trades. Prepare/Post/Reconcile daily/monthly transactions analyzing GAAP reporting vs product trades. Data analysis to monitor and audit hedge funds for fraud, errors, and discrepancies Establish good working relationships with the Operations department and the traders Work closely with traders to develop investment strategies and improve various operations of the hedge fundThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer.Physical Requirements: All offers of employment are conditioned on passing a drug screen and a fit-for-duty physical examination. John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is an EOE, including disability/vets.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:   Proficient in Microsoft Office.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Good verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently and with minimal direction 2-5 years accounting/audit/tax experience with exposure to hedge funds or other alternative investments
