You will: Lead, supervise, and develop the nursing team to provide safe, effective, resident-centered care Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of resident plans of care Partner with the interdisciplinary team to address resident needs and improve outcomes Ensure nursing services, medications, treatments, and physician orders are delivered appropriately Monitor clinical documentation, resident records, quality indicators, and facility reports Lead and participate in Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives and follow-up Review regulatory and consultant reports and ensure appropriate plans of correction are implemented Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and company standards Communicate effectively with physicians, medical directors, residents, families, discharge planners, and other healthcare partners Coach, mentor, and hold nursing staff accountable for performance and professional conduct Identify opportunities for clinical improvement and help create sustainable solutions Provide education and training to nursing staff Step in and provide direct clinical support when needed Partner with the Administrator and leadership team to address concerns, resolve challenges, and strengthen the overall resident experience What We’re Looking For Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and clinical standards Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a nursing team Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field RUG certification Experience leading quality improvement and regulatory initiatives The Leader We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: A Coach – You enjoy developing nurses and helping your team succeed.
