Position Summary:Ā
Assist the Professional Services Quality Control Manager (PSQCM) with duties to cause the methods and procedures contained in the approved Professional Services Quality Management Plan to be implemented and followed by the Design staff in the performance of theĀ work and any otherāÆrequired professional services QC tasks at the project level.Ā
Job DutiesĀ
AssistĀ inĀ establishing, implementing, andĀ maintainingĀ quality control procedures and quality review standardsĀ
AssistĀ in updating the Professional Services QualityĀ managementĀ Plan (PSQMP) as needed or as required by the contract.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in providing training and workshops to all personnel involved in or affected by the PSQMP.Ā
AssistĀ in overseeing the implementation of the PSQMP.Ā
AssistĀ in ensuring that the methods and procedures contained in the approved PSQMP are implemented and followed in the performance of the WorkĀ
AssistĀ in ensuring accuracy, completion, and quality inĀ submittals to TxDOT and Governmental Entities.Ā
AssistĀ in certifying that theĀ designĀ Submittal packages, and design changes meet the requirements of the PSQMP and Contract Documents.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in providing TxDOT and the Professional Services Quality Assurance Firm (PSQAF) quality records documenting the QC review of the 3-D design model of the Submittals.Ā
AssistĀ in the coordination with the Project TechnicalĀ OfficeĀ management of drawings and any revisions.Ā
AssistĀ in the process of incorporatingĀ all changes made through the RFI process in the Record Drawings.Ā
AssistĀ in coordinating with TxDOT and the PSQAFĀ regardingĀ Professional Services Quality Control.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in the coordination works with the Professional Services Quality Assurance Firm (PSQAF)Ā
AssistĀ inĀ monitoringĀ the Quality Control of the project according to the Quality Management Plan.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in performingĀ audits.Ā
AssistĀ in completing the Quality Management System Review Report.Ā Ā
AssistĀ in preparing required quality-related reports.Ā
Work in a multidisciplinary environment, actively communicating with the rest of the Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99 personnel involved in the design and construction works, toĀ identifyĀ needs and evaluate process improvementsĀ
Any other reasonable requestĀ deemedĀ necessary by managementĀ Ā
Job Requirements:Ā
RequiredĀ Bachelorās degree in civil engineering, Construction Science or equivalentĀ
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required at hire or to be obtained shortly thereafter.Ā
3 or more years of experience in related role or in heavy civil engineering capacityĀ
Preferred ASQ certification and Professional Engineer licensureĀ
Preferred familiar with ISO 9001Ā conceptsĀ
Valuable computer skills andĀ proficiencyĀ in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam Revu, PowerPoint, databases, and document control systemsĀ
Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skillsĀ
Valuable prior knowledge & experience with TxDOT specifications and standardsĀ
MustĀ possessĀ strong attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environmentĀ
