Your journey starts here!  POSITION SUMMARY: This position works closely with the Head Swim Coach in developing, coordinating, and managing the Villa Sport Swim Team in a safe and responsible manner.  This person will be provided with general supervision by the Aquatics Director and will need to be organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to successfully manage the programs with minimal direct supervision. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: Hourly rate of pay based upon relevant experience to the role.  401K with dollar for dollar match up to 4%. Complimentary club membership. QUALIFICATIONS: Job Specific Knowledge Familiarity with aquatics industry Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience Competitive swimming background Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons. Coaching experience preferred. Communication/Organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Education/Certification 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or 18 years of age and Swimming Coaches Safety Training Certification (including First Aid) and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification American Swimming Coaches Association - Level 1 preferred Associates Degree preferred For more information about Villa Sport, please visit our website at www.villasport.com.
