About the Job
The Asset Associate supports the movement, accuracy, and quality of rental inventory across Bright locations. This role reviews daily product needs, coordinates transfers and shuttle activity, and looks for ways to reduce unnecessary movement while keeping equipment available for upcoming events.
Working closely with Asset Management, Warehouse, Field Operations, Sales, and vendor partners, the Asset Associate helps maintain accurate inventory records and ensures rental products are transferred, counted, and handled correctly.
What You’ll Do
- Run and review daily asset reports to identify inventory needs across locationsÂ
- Determine which products and quantities need to be transferred between locationsÂ
- Create, update, and finalize transfer tickets within established timelinesÂ
- Review transfer tickets for accuracy and add approved last-minute changes when neededÂ
- Evaluate transfer load sizes and combine shipments when possible to reduce unnecessary truck useÂ
- Send completed transfer tickets to the appropriate teams for preparation and close prior-day ticketsÂ
- Process daily regional laundry shuttle adjustments and reconcile returned inventoryÂ
- Communicate asset changes and availability updates with Sales, Warehouse, and OperationsÂ
- Process damaged inventory for removal and coordinate cycle counts as neededÂ
- Partner with Warehouse and Field Operations teams to identify product quality concerns and improve asset handlingÂ
- Maintain accurate information in Bright’s rental management systemÂ
- Support Asset Management projects and process improvements that improve inventory accuracy and availability
What You Bring
Required
- Experience supporting inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, or administrative coordinationÂ
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and open tasksÂ
- Ability to review reports, identify discrepancies, and make decisions based on available informationÂ
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate recordkeepingÂ
- Clear written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently while staying connected with multiple departmentsÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard office programsÂ
- Ability to learn and work within Bright’s rental management systemÂ
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and safely navigate warehouse and office facilitiesÂ
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on seasonal volume and business needs
Nice to Have
- Experience in event rentals, equipment rentals, inventory control, or transportation coordinationÂ
- Familiarity with Alert or another rental management systemÂ
- Experience creating transfer orders, coordinating shuttle activity, or reconciling inventoryÂ
- Knowledge of cycle counts, damage processing, and product quality controlÂ
- Experience working across multiple warehouse or branch locations
