RANDALL is seeking anexperienced, hands-on Safety Manager to join our team and lead oursafety efforts for projects along the Space Coast of Florida from ouroffice in Titusville. This position will provide leadership andoversight of safety programs supporting our construction operations, with anemphasis on creating a strong safety culture, reducing risk, maintainingregulatory compliance, and ensuring our employees go home safely every day.

PositionSummary

TheSafety Manager is responsible for leading and supporting RANDALL's safetyinitiatives across assigned projects and operations. This individual will workclosely with project management, field supervision, Safety Specialists, andemployees to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, conduct training,investigate incidents, and promote consistent compliance with RANDALL safetypolicies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Thesuccessful candidate will be a visible safety leader who is comfortablespending significant time in the field, communicating with employees at alllevels, and proactively addressing safety concerns before they becomeincidents.

EssentialFunctions

• Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for safety activities across assigned construction projects and operations.
  
• Promote and reinforce a proactive safety culture throughout RANDALL's field and operational teams.
  
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and potential regulatory compliance issues.
  
• Document safety observations, communicate findings to Safety and Project Management, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field personnel to develop practical solutions to safety-related issues.
  
• Ensure employees receive appropriate site-specific safety orientation and required safety training before and during their assignments.
  
• Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  
• Lead or participate in injury, incident, near-miss, and property-damage investigations, including fact finding and root cause analysis.
  
• Ensure incidents and injuries are reported promptly and required documentation is completed and distributed to the appropriate parties.
  
• Track corrective actions resulting from inspections, incidents, and safety observations through completion.
  
• Attend and actively participate in project safety coordination meetings.
  
• Develop and provide materials for weekly toolbox talks, tailgate meetings, and other safety meetings.
  
• Conduct safety meetings and training for employees and supervisors as needed.
  
• Coach field supervision and employees on hazard recognition, safe work practices, and accountability.
  
• Monitor the use and condition of required personal protective equipment and reinforce applicable PPE requirements.
  
• Support safety planning for high-risk construction activities and changing jobsite conditions.
  
• Maintain organized safety records and assist with documentation required by customers, projects, and regulatory agencies.
  
• Monitor safety performance, identify recurring trends, and recommend measures to reduce incidents and improve overall safety performance.
  
• Coordinate with RANDALL leadership and project teams on client-specific safety requirements.
  
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Safety Specialists and other field safety personnel, as assigned.
  
• Maintain professional working relationships with employees, customers, general contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  

TisSafety role includes jobsite audits, incident reporting and root causeanalysis, safety coordination meetings, toolbox meetings, worker and supervisortraining, and site safety orientations. This Manager role retains those coreresponsibilities while adding leadership, accountability, trend analysis,program oversight, and mentoring responsibilities appropriate for thehigher-level position.

Qualifications/ Education / Work Experience

• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or a closely related environment preferred.
  
• Previous experience leading safety activities on large commercial construction projects strongly preferred.
  
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
  
• OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 required.
  
• Education or formal training in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred.
  
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required or ability to obtain; instructor/trainer certification preferred.
  
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks for project badging.
  
• Strong working knowledge of construction safety practices and hazard recognition.
  
• Demonstrated ability to investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach employees and influence safe behavior at all levels of an organization.
  
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
  
• Ability and willingness to regularly travel to and work on active construction jobsites.
  

TheOSHA, bilingual, occupational safety training, background-check, CPR/FirstAid/AED, communication, Microsoft Office/Excel, and construction-safetyrequirements build directly on RANDALL's existing Safety Specialistqualifications.

PhysicalRequirements

Thisposition requires regular work in shop and active field/jobsite environments.The Safety Manager must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, remain on theirfeet for extended periods, and bend, stretch, crouch, climb, and movethroughout active construction environments as necessary.

Theposition also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately topotentially hazardous conditions, respond to audible warnings, and properlywear required personal protective equipment. These requirements align with thefield requirements identified in RANDALL's Safety Specialist position.
