YRGMERFis anticipating a project to strengthen the Urban Ecosystem Against FutureDisease Threats by implementing a framework for urban-peri-urban coordination.This project if commissioned will require a team of below positions to supportthe coordination, implementation and monitoring of several components.

About the role

Conduct the counselling, supervise and interact with youngpeople or teenagers, assisting them in resolving problems and ensuring theirphysical and emotional needs are being met. specialize in counselling, mentalhealth area such as childhood depression, and HIV infection preventionincluding HIV pre post-test counselling and other health issues as well.

What the support looks like

  • You will work with eachparticipant day to basis as per requirement:
  • Understandingabout adolescent health and their issues
  • Ensurethe reporting and documentation in the database Realtime basis
  • Ensuringthe confidentiality of all the clients
  • Accompaniedreferral and linkage to ART and other services
  • (Safetalk )One on one conversation with clients and finding challenges and solutionto over come.
  • Providing NACP services ifrequired.

Key responsibilities:

Delivering the sessions
  • He/she will report site coordinator and assist to Centre manager.
  • He /She will provide all typeof counselling related to Adolescent and young PWID include Depression, MentalHealth, Motivation counselling, HIV Pre-Post test counselling, Harm Reduction,Safe Sex and Safe injecting practices.
  • Ensurethe reporting and documentation in the database.
  • Accompaniedreferral and linkage and assurance of linkage.
  • Motivationcounselling for PLHA participants.
  • Timelyreporting to Centre to manager and site coordinator.
  • Ensurethe confidentiality of all the participants.
  • Anyother task as per need of the organization with regard to supporting activitiesfor similar studies, trials, project or assignments.
  • Engagementof all activities conducted by Centre
  • Any other taskassigned by the supervisor.

Training and supervision

  • Completethe training program and implementation in day-to-day intervention
  • Conducting college and schoolprogram.
