Job DetailsJob Location: Toledo RV - Toledo, OH 43612Detailer Job Description Summary: In this role, you would be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles as well as communicating effectively with sales staff and other departments to ensure productivity within the department while following Dealership specifications and safety standards. Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager Job Duties: • Wash, clean, wax, sand and polish vehicles. • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products, applicators, and cleaning devices while following safety instructions. • Maintain showroom and stock vehicle in clean and presentable condition at all times. • Work with rental and service department to provide services for guests. • Ensure proper stickers and tags are displayed on vehicles. • Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using chemical products. Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner. • Reporting any damage or safety concerns to management. • Vehicle inspection prior to delivery, including filling gas tank. • Maintain high performance levels while facing time deadlines or handling multiple tasks. • Other duties as assigned. Exemption Status: Detailer is a non-exempt position. You are required by Federal and State Law and by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours you work each day. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. The dealership is an “at-will” employer, meaning that your employment has no specific term, and that the employment relationship may be terminated at any time at the will of either party on notice to the other. Nothing contained in your commission (compensation/pay) plan should be understood to alter the nature of the at-will employment relationship or create a contract of employment for a specific term.QualificationsQualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail • Prior detail experience is preferred but not required
