Job Summary:

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Toledo, Ohio.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a team of seven Neonatologists and nine NNP's
  • 100% inpatient- neonatal patient's (birth to six months of age)
  • 72-bed Level III NICU
  • Patient volume- 8-16 babies/team (4 total teams)
  • Ebeid Children's NICU unit, some high-risk delivery coverage at Bay Park and occasional NICU transport coverage to outlying hospitals
  • Shift- six days per pay period (every two weeks)
  • Shifts- 7:00a-8:30p (day) and 8:00p- 9:30a (nights), shift hours rotate
  • Holidays/Weekends required
  • No Call Required
  • Experience highly preferred

Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics. Requirements:
