KSNT-TV/KTMJ-TV is looking for a part-time Digital Reporter to research and write news articles for the website, post to social media accounts, and produce video content for all broadcast and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Produce creative, compelling news content for viewers across mobile, desktop, streaming, and social media platforms.
  • Report breaking news online quickly, accurately, and aggressively.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines.
  • Ensure all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.
  • Monitor email, phones, social media, analytics, and other sources for breaking news and story leads.
  • Research and analyze background information to deliver complete, accurate, and context-rich stories.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or working toward a degree in journalism, mass media, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to work any shift.
