About the Job:

We are seeking a Scrum Master with strong experience in Agile delivery and enterprise program management to lead complex transformation initiatives across technology and business domains. This role blends servant leadership, delivery governance, and end-to-end project accountability to ensure predictable, high-quality releases aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will drive Agile execution while owning project planning, stakeholder alignment, and delivery outcomes across cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, Data, and Business stakeholders. This role requires balancing Scrum facilitation with traditional project management responsibilities, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple teams, dependencies, and release cycles.

Position Responsibilities:


Agile & Scrum Leadership

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremoniesincluding Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives, andBacklog Refinement.

• Drive Agile best practices andensure consistent adoption across multiple teams.

• Lead Scrum of Scrums / ART syncsto manage cross-team dependencies and alignment.

• Identify, track, and removeimpediments impacting sprint and release commitments.

• Ensure sprint goals align withbusiness priorities, timelines, and delivery milestones.

• Promote continuous improvementthrough retrospectives, metrics, and team coaching.

 

Project & Program Management

• Develop and manage end-to-endproject plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Define and track scope,schedule, cost, risks, and dependencies across initiatives.

• Manage RAID logs (Risks,Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and mitigation strategies.

• Drive release planning, roadmapalignment, and execution tracking across teams.

• Ensure adherence to SDLC,governance standards, and quality frameworks.

• Coordinate multi-team deliveryacross Agile and hybrid project environments.


Delivery Oversight & Execution

• Oversee delivery across engineering,QA, product, and business teams.

• Ensure high-quality releasesthrough proper validation, testing, and defect management.

• Monitor key metrics such as velocity,burn-down, predictability, and defect leakage.

• Support integration effortsacross systems, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise tools.

• Ensure release readiness,including environment stability, deployment planning, and rollback strategies.

• Drive on-time delivery whilemaintaining quality and compliance standards.

 

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management

• Act as the primary liaisonbetween business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology teams.

• Facilitate alignment between businessobjectives and technical delivery plans.

• Provide transparent reporting onprogress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.

• Manage stakeholder expectationsand resolve conflicts across teams.

• Support executive reporting andgovernance forums with clear delivery insights.

 

Leadership & Coaching

• Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, andhybrid delivery models.

• Mentor Product Owners on backlogprioritization, story refinement, and value delivery.

• Foster a culture of ownership,accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Drive adoption of DevOps,automation, and CI/CD practices.

• Facilitate root cause analysisand process improvements to enhance team performance.




Requirements

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• Overall 7+ years of experience and 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working within Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC, Agile frameworks, and releasemanagement practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across business andtechnology domains.
• Strong working experience applying project management principles.
• Experience managing complex dependencies in large-scale enterprise programs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong servant leadership mindset with proven ability to resolve deliveryimpediments.


 

Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience working in retail or e-commerce domain 
• Agile certifications such as SAFe, CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP.
• Experience supporting large-scale Agile programs or Release Trainenvironments.




Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000CAD/ year

 

The final compensation offeredwill depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well asjob-related factors such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications,relevant experience, and education/training.
