Job DetailsJob Location: Greater Los Angeles Area - Torrance, CA 90501Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 HourlyJob Title Hip Hop Dance Instructor Department Performing Arts/After School Enrichment Reports To Program Coordinator Job Summary The Dance Instructor plans and delivers dance instruction in various styles while developing students' technical skills, creativity, discipline, and performance abilities. The instructor prepares students for performances, competitions, and assessments. Key Responsibilities Teach dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills. Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Conduct rehearsals and prepare students for performances. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Promote physical fitness, safety, and injury prevention. Organize dance productions and community performances. Foster teamwork, confidence, and artistic expression. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field. Professional dance training and/or certification. Experience in teaching or professional dance performance. First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
