Salary: $75,000–$95,000 annually depending on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer Technician to improve production processes, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement in a multi-SKU, semi-custom manufacturing environment.

This role bridges Engineering and Operations, focusing on process optimization, troubleshooting, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and line balance.
  • Conduct time studies and identify bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.
  • Support daily production troubleshooting and corrective actions.
  • Lead or support Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.
  • Support new product introduction, including manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
  • Create and update CAD drawings, layouts, tooling, and production documentation.
  • Collect and analyze production data to measure efficiency, quality, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and R&D to resolve problems and implement improvements.
  • Support capital equipment evaluations and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing/process engineering experience.
  • Experience in a production environment; high-mix or configurable manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Ability to recommend and implement practical improvements.

Preferred:

  • Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • SolidWorks or similar CAD experience.
  • Experience with tooling, fixtures, jigs, or sewn/assembly-based manufacturing.
  • Experience with NPI and structured problem-solving.

Salary Range: $75,000–$95,000 annually
