Assistant Coach - Women's Basketball

Essential Job Functions: What You Will Be Doing

1. Assist with the recruitment and retention of qualified student- athletes to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), and be among the top programs within the conference. Assist with the administration of the women's basketball program as determined by the head coach.

   Assist with adherence to the program's operational and recruitment budget.

2. Assist with alumni outreach and development as determined by the head coach including but not limited to opportunities to meet, invitations to appropriate team activity and other stewardship.

3. Understand and follow the rules, regulations and protocol of the University, GLVC and the NCAA.

Required Knowledge: Understanding of the game and technical aspects in the sport of

women's basketball.

Required Skills or Abilities: The ability to effectively teach team and individual skills connected with team and player development. Previous coaching experience or team leadership role as an athlete.

Required Formal Education: Four-year college education

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $36,000 - $37,822 annually
• Actual compensation will be commensurate with education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
