Sonic Summary

The College is seeking qualified individuals to teach Fitness courses, specifically in Personal Training and Kickboxing.
Candidates for the Aerobic Kickboxing position should have a BS Degree in Physical Education or related area, with a master's degree preferred and 5 years of teaching experience in NON-Contact kickboxing.
For the Fitness position, a master's degree in Exercise Science or related discipline is preferred, along with teaching experience, although an undergraduate degree with exceptional related experience may be considered.
Teaching opportunities may be available during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends at various locations including Lincroft and Western Monmouth.
The pay rate for this position is $985 per credit hour.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in subject matter as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Aerobic Kickboxing -
- BS Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related area. Master’s degree preferred. 5 years experience teaching NON-Contact kickboxing along with at least one nationally recognized certification in kickboxing.Will consider years of teaching/experience in lieu of academic credentials. Need is for individuals with daytime availability
Fitness -
- Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Health or related discipline considered. Teaching experience preferred. Will consider undergraduate degree in discipline with exceptional related experience in field.

Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:

Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend courses may be available in Lincroft, Western Monmouth and Higher Education Centers
Knowledge of Monmouth County and its communities.
