Estate Coordinator - Mayflower Estate Buyers & Consulting LLC Full-time 路 Hybrid (office + regional travel) 路 Baltimore, MD area 路 Starting at $24.50/hour plus performance bonus
Do you love jewelry, meeting new people, and hitting the road? Mayflower Estate Buyers & Consulting is looking for an organized, outgoing Estate Coordinator to help independent jewelry stores run profitable gold-buying events and estate jewelry trunk shows.
Mayflower is part of Nelson Coleman Companies, a sixth-generation family jewelry business with roughly 170 years in the industry. Our team of gemologists, appraisers, and estate specialists partners with retailers across the country - and we'll teach you the trade.
What you'll do
- Call and email jewelry store owners to book buying events, trunk shows, and consulting engagements
- Travel to partner stores to buy gold and estate jewelry from the public and sell pre-priced estate inventory
- Coordinate each event from first call to final paperwork: timelines, marketing materials, agreements, and post-event reconciliation
- Represent Mayflower at trade shows, including booth work, presentations, and lead follow-up
- Purchase over the counter and Keep accurate buy records, lead tracking, and expense reports
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in sales, ideally B2B, retail jewelry, or another relationship-based field
- Confidence picking up the phone and handling objections from business owners
- Strong organization and attention to detail - you keep many moving parts on track without dropping any
- Comfort with frequent travel, including overnight trips and some weekends
- A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check
- Jewelry, gemology, or precious-metals experience is a plus, not a requirement
