Your Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support the development and integration of electrical and mechatronic systems used in humanoid robots, including sensors, actuators, and control electronics. You will work alongside experts developing scalable solutions that move from research to real-world factory deployment. Â
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for humanoid robots, including power distribution, control circuits, and embedded electronicsÂ
- Support integration of sensors, actuators, and control units into robotic subsystems (arms, joints, mobility platforms)Â Â
- Contribute to prototype development and validation, including wiring harnesses, PCB testing, and hardware debuggingÂ
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, AI) to enable full mechatronic system functionalityÂ
- Analyze performance data from test systems and real factory deployments to improve reliability and efficiencyÂ
- Assist with hardware-in-the-loop testing, system calibration, and signal validationÂ
- Participate in documentation of designs, test procedures, and engineering resultsÂ
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs
Your Qualifications
- Pursuing an academic degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5Â
- Basic knowledge of:Â
- Circuit design and analysisÂ
- Embedded systems or microcontrollersÂ
- Analog and digital electronicsÂ
- Mechanical and Electrical Understanding: Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including an understanding of how actuators and sensors function and interact within a robotic systemÂ
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Clear and concise documentation and reporting abilities are also importantÂ
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorshipÂ
Preferred: Exposure to mechatronics or system integration projectsÂ
