Effective Pay: $22–$25/hour, depending on experience
Total annual compensation: approximately $45,760–$52,000, not including possible overtime
Includes a $40 weekly incentive for working a full 40 hours on the clock. Base pay: $21–$24/hour.

Oakwood Veneer Company is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator / Maintenance Technician with experience in machine repair, industrial maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, or a related mechanical field.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems and staying busy. You'll operate production machinery while troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, and completing preventative maintenance. Priorities can change throughout the day, so we're looking for someone who can quickly assess problems, triage competing needs, and move between tasks while helping keep equipment running and minimizing downtime. The ability to read schematics and perform basic machine maintenance is required.

Training will be provided on Oakwood's specific machines and equipment. However, machine repair, industrial maintenance, or related hands-on mechanical experience is required.

The right candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, takes initiative, and is comfortable working independently while communicating with the production team. You'll identify potential problems and respond to mechanical and production issues as they arise while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
