Unity House of Troy’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Services is hiring a program support position to assist our comprehensive housing program. If you have a passion to help people live independently and become free of domestic and sexual violence, come join our Domestic and Sexual Violence Services Team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete rental breakdowns for participants living in our supportive housing programs.
  • Maintain back-up files for all housing program spending and ensure documentation requirements are met.
  • Assist program managers with reporting, ordering, budget tracking, and funding compliance.
  • Act as a liaison between housing and finance departments.
  • Track program spending and expenses and assist to meet funding objectives.
  • Assist and monitor audits as needed.
  • Work closely with managers and case management teams to provide quality services to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging amongst team members and the individuals we work with. 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required. 2 years' experience working with adults living with a mental illness or other at-risk populations required. College degree in related field preferred. Valid and clean New York State Driver License. Reliable transportation.
  • Ideally, the right candidate would have excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong time management skills, detailed orientated and organized. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks as program needs change throughout the work day. Proficient with computers and Microsoft office/Excel. Ability to work independently and as a team.
