Job Details: Job Location: White Oak Manor Tryon - Tryon, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $77000.00 - $85000.00Salary/year, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Registered Nurse, RN Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Control NurseWhite Oak Manor of Tryon | 70 Oak Street, Tryon, NC20,000 SIGN-ON BONUSFull-Time Nursing Leadership PositionMonday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PMJoin Our Nursing Leadership Team!White Oak Manor of Tryon is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Registered Nurse to join our Nursing Leadership Team in a combined Staff Development Coordinator and Infection Prevention & Control role.This key leadership position provides the opportunity to influence clinical excellence, develop nursing talent, strengthen infection prevention practices, and drive continuous quality improvement throughout our 70-bed skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and 18 bed assisted living community.We are looking for a confident clinical leader who takes initiative, inspires others, promotes accountability, and is committed to maintaining exceptional standards of resident care.Leadership ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our Nursing Leadership Team, you will: Lead Staff Development: Oversee orientation, clinical education, in-services, and staff competency evaluations. Drive Clinical Excellence: Mentor nursing staff, strengthen clinical performance, and promote accountability. Direct Infection Prevention: Manage infection surveillance, prevention protocols, outbreak response, and regulatory compliance. Advance Quality Improvement: Lead antibiotic stewardship initiatives and support QAPI activities. Partner With Leadership: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and department leaders to improve staff performance and resident care. Ensure Compliance: Maintain required education, infection control, and employee health documentation. Provide Clinical Leadership: Serve as a nursing resource and participate in the rotating RN on-call schedule. Qualifications Current, active North Carolina RN license required. Three years of supervisory or administrative nursing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred. Strong knowledge of clinical education, infection prevention, and healthcare regulatory standards. Demonstrated leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively educate, motivate, and develop clinical teams.
