Position Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for task-based Sterile Processing activities.
Responsibilities
- Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applicationsÂ
- Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts,Â
- Paring and replenishment of materialsÂ
- Working in collaboration with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete surgical instrumentation and needed suppliesÂ
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements:Â
- Education: High School diploma or GEDÂ
- Licensure/Certifications: BLS. IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certified.Â
- Preferred Requirements:Â
- Experience: 1 year in sterile processing.Â
