Job DetailsJob Location: Pima - Tucson Heart Center - Tucson, AZ 85718Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayJob Category: Other PositionsUS Heart and Vascular is in need of a Nuclear Medicine Assistant to join Pima Heart and Vascular in the Tucson, AZ.   Responsibilities: Prepares stress rooms for procedures  Interviews patients, measures vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height and records information in patients’ charts Position patients and equipment  Cleans and disinfects instruments  Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials Operates electrocardiograph (EKG), treadmill, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic test Schedule patients for tests  Gives injections or treatments  Screens telephone calls/emails  Preps and perform Treadmill stress tests for patients Monitors NUC/PET schedules to maintain full schedules  Start IVs and run nuclear cameras  Travel is required between clinics Other related duties may be assigned Requirements: Completion of a Medical Assistant program is required Knowledge in medical terminology  Cardiac Experience is preferred but not required   Why Choose Us?
