Receives and transports patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination Â
Responsibilities
- Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed Â
- Cleans all equipment as assigned Â
- Assists other employees as directed Â
- May assist with clerical work in the department as time permits. Â
- Will document request for Services in order to provide an accurate and timely tracking system Â
- Will maintain wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other used equipment in clean and sanitary condition as well as proper working order (i.e.-oiling wheels of such equipment).    Â
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Â
- Other duties as assigned Â
Qualifications
- Minimum RequirementsÂ
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent Â
- Preferred RequirementsÂ
- Experience: Patient transportation or customer service experience Â
- Licensure/Certifications: BLSÂ
