PR, Public Affairs & Communications AgenciesÂ
If clients call you before they call anyone else in the building, we want to hear from you.
Westminster Search is building a talent pool of strong Account Directors and Associate Directors for our agency clients across PR, public affairs and communications. We are not recruiting for one role — we are getting ahead of the next ten. Join the pool now, and we will match you to a live vacancy the moment it fits.
Why register with this talent pool
- You are matched to relevant roles before they are advertised publicly.
- One conversation with us saves you dozens of applications to individual agencies.
- We know the agency market in detail, and we only put you forward for roles that suit your experience and ambitions.
- You hear about opportunities first, from a consultant who has placed agency professionals for years.
What you will be doing, in roles we place
- Owning senior client relationships, and being the person a client trusts with the account's strategy, not just its delivery.
- Leading account teams, developing junior colleagues and making sure work is delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Shaping campaign strategy and advising clients on complex or sensitive issues, including reputational risk.
- Contributing to new business: pitches, proposals and growing existing accounts.
- Working closely with agency leadership on account profitability, resourcing and client retention.
What clients are looking for
- Substantial experience in a PR, public affairs or communications agency, typically already operating at senior manager or director level.
- A track record of managing senior client relationships and being trusted with strategic advice, not just execution.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, and the ability to develop a team.
- New business experience, and a genuine interest in growing accounts and the agency.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the judgement to advise a client's leadership team directly.
How the talent pool works
- Send your CV and a short note on the type of role you want.
- We will arrange a confidential call to understand your experience, motivations and salary expectations.
- We keep your details on file and contact you as soon as a suitable vacancy is instructed by a client.
- You are under no obligation, and we will never put your name forward without asking you first.
