The Business Process Optimization Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, operational efficiency, customer service, and workforce productivity. This role serves as an internal consultant, partnering with leaders across business functions to identify improvement opportunities, redesign processes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive measurable business results.This role combines process improvement, change management, data analysis, project leadership, and technology enablement to eliminate waste, simplify work, enhance decision-making, and support strategic objectives. The Business Process Optimization Manager operates with a high degree of independence and influences stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
聽
路聽聽 Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation and sustainment.
路聽聽 Evaluate current processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and facilitate future-state process design.
路聽聽 Facilitate process discovery, value stream mapping, workflow analysis, and future-state design sessions.
路聽聽 Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, recommendations, performance measures, and implementation plans.
路聽聽 Advise leaders on operational challenges and improvement opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
路聽聽 Partner with Information Technology and business teams to improve systems, automate workflows, and support process digitization and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
路聽聽 Analyze operational, financial, customer, and workforce data to identify trends, support decisions, and measure results.
路聽聽 Develop and execute stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and change management activities that support adoption.
路聽聽 Manage project scope, risks, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and expected benefits across multiple departments.
路聽聽 Develop and execute change management plans to support successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
路聽聽 Support enterprise process governance, documentation standards, and continuous improvement practices.
路聽聽 Coach employees and leaders on process improvement methods and tools.
路聽聽 Build organizational capability in continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
路聽聽 Perform other duties, as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualities:

路聽聽 Knowledge of business process management, operational excellence, Lean methodologies, process mapping, workflow design, change management, and project management.
路聽聽 Understanding of data analytics, performance measurement, process automation, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness.
路聽聽 Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, facilitation, and decision-support skills.
路聽聽 Effective written, verbal, presentation, and executive-level communication skills.

Education, Training, Experience:
聽
Required
路聽聽 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Public Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Development, or a related field.
路聽聽 Seven (7) or more years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, management consulting, business transformation, project management, organizational effectiveness, analytics, or a related discipline.
路聽聽 Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.
Preferred
路聽聽 Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
路聽聽 Experience in a utility, energy, public-sector, or regulated-industry environment.
路聽聽 Experience implementing enterprise technology solutions or supporting executive leadership teams.

Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:
聽
路聽聽 Lean Six Sigma, Certified Business Process Professional, Project Management Professional, change management, Agile, or Scrum certification, preferred.
路聽聽 Valid Oklahoma driver's license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for an Oklahoma resident holding an out-of-state driver's license.

路聽聽 Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with routine use of computers, electronic systems, and standard office equipment.
路聽聽 Must possess the mental, visual, and auditory acuity necessary to analyze complex information, facilitate meetings, prepare reports and presentations, and communicate effectively.
路聽聽 Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and maintain attention to detail.
路聽聽 May require travel to other GRDA locations and work sites, as needed.
