Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.
  • Performs diagnostic tests, patient care, and selects appropriate technical factors to insure proper diagnosis of patients.
  • Operate complex imaging equipment within the department including diagnostic radiology equipment.
  • Able to gain IV access for the administration of contrast. 
  • Ensures imaging equipment is in proper working condition and reports malfunctions to the Radiology Manager. 
  • Must maintain appropriate exposure levels according to ALARA standards.
  • Perform technical and clerical duties as delegated by Radiology Manager.

Job Requirements: 

  • Associates degree from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • ARRT Registered 
  • Must maintain registry status as set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.).
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • One year of X-Ray experience 
  • CT Registry required within 12 months of completing orientation. 

Job Preferred Requirements: 

  • CT Registry or Registry eligible 
  • One year of experience in CT
