Human Resources Business Partner

The Boeing company is seeking a Human Resource (HR) Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor and trusted resource to business and site leadership at the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Fabrication facility in Tulsa, OK.


This role is responsible for aligning human resources strategies and practices with business objectives to support operational performance, workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance. The HR Business Partner provides consultation and support in the areas of employee relations, talent management, organizational effectiveness, performance management, workforce planning, and change management.


This position partners closely with leaders, employees, and HR functional teams to help build a high-performing, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with site and business leaders to understand organizational priorities and develop HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, processes, and best practices
  • Provide coaching and consultation to leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and development
  • Lead or support the resolution of employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution, in accordance with company policy and applicable law
  • Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and organizational design to meet current and future business needs
  • Assist with talent management activities, including succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR support
  • Analyze workforce and HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support compensation and performance review processes as needed
  • Promote employee engagement, inclusion, and a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Support site leadership through change management efforts, business transformation initiatives, and organizational communications
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite-based at the Tulsa, Oklahoma fabrication facility
  • Frequent interaction with hourly and salaried employees, supervisors, managers, and site leadership
  • May require occasional flexibility to respond to urgent employee or business needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):  

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, fabrication, aerospace, or industrial workforce
  • Experience in a union and/or non-union environment
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
  • Experience using HR data and metrics to inform business decisions
