Position Overview

International Motors is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!

 

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be the primary resource for maintenance and repair work for the 1st shift position. This position will oversee various disciplines within the facility and facilities team to ensure safety standards are met, maximum uptime on facility equipment is achieved, initiates and audits preventative maintenance program offering solutions for long term gains and manages and trains the work force to develop the team sustainability.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the maintenance of facility
  • Maintains the facility in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime
  • Oversees technicians that repair and maintain buildings and grounds
  • Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures
  • Manages training programs to ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures
  • Maintains inventory and/or spare parts
  • Schedules facilities activities
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Plans activities for first shift, second shift, and weekend shift to achieve PM completions and facility maintenanc

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of maintenance experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 1 year of maintenance experience

OR

  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Microsoft Project experience (or other Project Scheduling software)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic/ collaborative environment
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant building and construction codes / standards
  • Technical writing and communication skills
  • Budget and schedule management experience
  • AutoCad or other drafting program experience
  • Experience EAM, BAS, and other building software system
