Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Weekends Only

At Brighter Day, we believe that people with developmental disabilities are people first. We will always place the person before the program. Brighter Day is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team as a Direct Care Professional to provide care to the individuals we support. You will work in home settings supporting individuals with daily living activities, participating in recreational activities, and fostering positive relationships. Come be part of a growing team!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Empathic individuals who want to make a real difference in a person's life by coming to work every day!
• We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, caring people who know the value of communication.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to change. The level of support may vary depending on the needs of the individual.
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a vehicle. 
• Must be able to pass a background check.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Implement individualized care plans and follow specific protocols
• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
• Assist with medication administration and documentation as required
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals

HOURS NEEDED:

• Saturday and Sunday's Only!
