BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr. .NETWeb Architect position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. Theincumbent must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Floridaif required. Consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and NewYear unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Will assist indeveloping specifications as well as overall planning and management ofprojects.
  • Will meet withleadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthlywritten reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, andrecommended solutions. Communicate project progress and information to team,sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
  • Will ensuretechnical direction and standards are being followed.
  • Will developproject plans and measures actual progress against the plans.
  • Will assuresthat project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans,communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
  • Will demonstratean understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in thedevelopment and implementation of business solutions.
  • Will manageproject risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planningtechniques.
  • Will managechange control within the projects.
  • Will obtainsponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect thecritical path.
  • Will write documentation showing testing andverification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.


Requirements

  • Bachelor ofScience/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree,or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 yearsof experience with Oracle Databases, Oracle functions, stored procedures,triggers, packages & performance tuning.
  • Minimum 8 yearsof experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, & Proficientin converting ASP.net web forms to MVC.
  • Experience withC#.Net, MVC, ASP.NET 4.XX, OOPS, Webservices, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JavaScriptframeworks.
  • Familiarity withDot Net core application development.
  • Familiarity withAzure services and application development on Azure.
  • Experience withMicrosoft SQL Server; Creating and Writing Stored Procedures.
  • Experience withbatch processing and data loading.
  • Experience withSQL Server Reporting Services 2017 and above.
  • Experience withSQL Server Integration Services.
  • Proficiency withMicrosoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Gathering anddocumenting business and technical requirements.
  • Experiencetesting custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.
  • Producingtechnical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceabilitymatrices, designs, testing.
  • Experience withworking with development teams on large enterprise projects.
