Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant- Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday. No Weekends! 3 evenings a week until 7pm, done at 1pm on Fridays!

Compensation: Hourly rate is $23-$32/hr based on your experience. 

Incentives: $5000 Sign on Bonus, plus $200 per month for Student Loan Assistance!

Unique Location/Job Details: Growing outpatient PT clinic with 2 PTs and 1 PTA, plus front desks staff.  Looking to add a PTA. Diverse patient mix. Mentorship provided for new grads. 

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
