We are looking for aĀ Seasonal Filler Operator to be responsible for the target weights of the product being processed at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a seasonal position supporting our fresh pack season, typically August – November.

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Always Promotes Food Safety Culture as a priority through conversations, communications, and actions.
  • Monitors the amount of fruit in each can coming out of the Solbern filler machine.
  • Checks every fifth can of product to ensure the target weight.
  • Adds or removes product to hit the target weight.Ā 
  • Notifies trouble shooter of problems.Ā

Requirements:

  • Able to communicates effectively with others using English language skills.Ā 
  • Performs work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Identifies and corrects conditions that affect employee safety.
  • Completes assigned tasks in stressful situations. Ā 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended schedule, weekends, and any shift assigned during the fresh pack season, typically August to November.
