Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator with expertise in testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end testing activities, driving quality improvements, and ensuring efficient execution of ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Test), and FPT (Flying Probe Test) processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end testing activities for PCB assemblies and electronic products.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor testing processes, including:
    • In-Circuit Testing (ICT)
    • Functional Testing (FCT)
    • Flying Probe Testing (FPT)
  • Lead PCB debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis activities to identify and resolve test failures.
  • Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams to address test-related issues and improve product reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, test procedures, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve test documentation, work instructions, reports, and testing processes.
  • Analyze test results and yield data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for defect reduction, process optimization, and test efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for test fixtures, test equipment, and technical support.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including test readiness and validation.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • ICT, FCT, and FPT testing
    • PCB debugging and troubleshooting
    • Failure analysis and root cause identification
    • Test fixture validation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of:
    • Electronic components and PCB assemblies
    • Schematic reading and circuit analysis
    • Manufacturing test methodologies
    • Functional and automated testing processes
  • Experience with test equipment such as:
    • Bed-of-Nails Fixtures
    • Flying Probe Test Systems
    • Functional Test Setups
  • Exposure to test program development and validation is an added advantage.

Industry Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Automotive Electronics, Aerospace & Defence, Industrial Electronics, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with high-reliability electronic products preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ECE, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in Testing, Quality, or Reliability Engineering are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, or similar quality standards.
  • Knowledge of Design for Testability (DFT) concepts.
  • Exposure to test automation tools and manufacturing analytics.
  • Experience supporting NPI and production ramp-up activities.
