GENERAL MANAGER — AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP

Paradise Chevrolet is seeking a highly driven, hands-on General Manager to lead our dealership operation in beautiful Ventura, California.

We are looking for an operator — someone who understands every moving piece of a successful dealership and knows how to turn opportunity into results.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an automotive professional who knows how to lead from the front, build a winning culture, develop people, drive profitability and take complete ownership of the operation.

With approximately 100 employees, we need a GM who is visible, engaged, accountable and knows how to get things done.

GM experience is a strong plus, but we are willing to consider an exceptional automotive executive with the leadership ability and proven track record to step into the role.

COMPENSATION & OPPORTUNITY

• $400,000–$600,000+ annual earning potential

WE WANT AN OPERATOR

The right leader understands the entire dealership operation — people, processes, performance and profitability.

The right General Manager will:

• Take complete ownership of dealership performance
  
• Lead and develop approximately 100 employees
  
• Drive sales, gross, CSI, fixed operations and overall profitability
  
• Recruit, train, coach and retain strong managers
  
• Hold department leaders accountable
  
• Maintain strong manufacturer relationships and standards
  
• Identify opportunities and solve problems quickly
  
• Build a competitive, performance-driven culture
  
• Work closely with variable and fixed operations
  
• Be highly visible and engaged throughout the dealership
  
• Lead by example and execute
  

EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong automotive dealership management experience required
  
• Current or previous General Manager experience is a plus
  
• Proven success operating a high-volume dealership
  
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and KPIs
  
• Demonstrated ability to grow revenue and profitability
  
• Experience leading large teams and department managers
  
• Strong knowledge of variable and fixed operations
  
• Exceptional leadership, communication and accountability
