Kitchen Steward

Job Description summary:

Manage the delivery, organization, and rotation of inventory, and ensure that all storage and delivery areas are maintained in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
• Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
• Provide and replenish food and beverage supplies in assigned venues.
• Verify that goods received match all documentation (order sheet and packing slip) and are of expected quality.
• Ensure the integrity of all supplies collected from the receiving department.
• Ensure cleanliness of all storge areas including coolers, freezers, and dry storage.
• Maintain proper rotation of supplies.
• Remove empty bottles, trash, and dirty linen/laundry from venues.
• Assist receiving department with delivery of supplies as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Previous food service experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Associate is required to stand or walk for the majority of the shift. 

The Associate is frequently required to lift up to 50 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
