Unit Secretary-Emergency, Per Diem, Day Shift

JOB TITLE: Unit Secretary, ER Services

REPORTS TO: Director of ER Services

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs primarily, clerical and reception duties that ensure interdepartmental communication and integrity of departmental records. Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Some knowledge and/or experience in the medical field preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: BLS preferred. Certificate of completion for a medical terminology course is preferred. Violence Prevention & De-Escalation certification required within 90 days of hire or status change.
