Job Details: Job Location: Vienna Correctional Center - Vienna, IL, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Medical Technician & Support, Hourly rate starting at $22.77/hour+Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.  We are currently seeking a full-time Medication Room Assistant to join our team at Vienna Correctional Center located in Vienna, Illinois.The Medication Room Assistant works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.  This person will: Assist with the organization and maintenance of medication room records Assist with the maintenance of medication room inventory and audit procedures Maintain the security of all medications and supplies under their control or supervision Processes supply requests in a prompt, cooperative and efficient manner Confirms ordered medications are received Logs outgoing medications Assists with the delivery of medications as determined by site administration Qualifications: Be a high school graduate or hold a GED 1 year correctional health care or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.  History of being well organized, communication effectively and detail oriented  Knowledge of correctional healthcare principles and practices preferred; along with knowledge of applicable state and federal laws Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
